Midland Christian Academy

Breaking News:  Midland Christian Academy Board selects candidate for Administrator Position. The MCA Board of Directors has selected Peter Mannix as their choice to lead the school. Mr. Mannix has excellent credentials and a terrific track record as an assistant principal and principal and we are genuinely excited at having a man of this caliber available to us. The Board will present him to the Midland Church of the Brethren congregation for confirmation on June 25th at the close of the 11:00 AM Worship Service. The Board thanks everyone for their patience, prayers and other expressions of support during our search. Please continue praying for the school as we complete the hiring and confirmation process.
MIDLAND  CHRISTIAN  ACADEMY is growing. Ned Olinger of Warrenton recently announced his retirement due to health issues. The MCA Board is beginning interviews with several qualified candidates and hopes an announcement will be coming in the near future.

Midland Christian Academy is an outreach ministry of the Midland Church of the Brethren seeking to instill Christ-like values in each student while providing the highest quality education available in our community. Currently offering Pre-School through Sixth Grade.  MCA is the only Christian School in the Church of the Brethren that serves children from pre-school through Elementary grades.

John King (who faithfully served as Interim Administrator) continues to provide leadership through his role on the
School's Board of Trustees. Holly Vanek has taken on additional duties in the day-to-day business operations, and Wendy Kerns has also helped by taking on some administrative duties in addition to her teaching role. With Summer vacation underway, work is being done to refresh and remodel classrooms.

Beginning as the "Hearts and Hands Pre-School" in 1986, Midland Christian Academy has grown dramatically in recent years. The school now encompasses Pre-school through Fifth Grade.
While we emphasize high academic standards, Christ-like values are even more important to us.
